Sai Baba's Charan Padukas Might Not Go To London`,UK
Sunday, 22nd Aug`2010
The Shirdi Gram & Shirdi Villagers have made strong objection to the Shirdi Sansthan's plan
of taking the Holy Padukas of Baba to London in September`2010.
They said that they will not allow any article of Baba to go outside of Shirdi anywhere, for which they wouldn't mind coming out on the Streets to protest, or to disrupt the Shirdi Sansthan's workings and even won't mind being Jailed too. They are saying that who so ever wants the Darshan of Baba or his Padukas,
should come to Shirdi instead of Baba/Padukas being taken to them. Some doubt if anywhere else, Baba's padukas will be worshiped in the same way as done in Shirdi. While some doubt the Sansthans intentions of taking Baba's Padukas abroad,
as to be for their own interest and not more for the Prachaar of Baba. This, despite the fact that the Sansthan had offered the Shirdi Gram Villagers to join them on this trip to London. So, now time will only tell, if the Padukas actually go to London or no, as the Sansthan cannot go against the wishes of Sai Devotees and the Shirdi Villagers.Last year when Baba's Padukas were being taken to Texas`USA, the same objections/protests were made by the Shirdi Gram / Villagers, and so the Sansthan had to scrap the program.

Sairam :Short Stories with Great Morals from Shri Sai Satcharitra
Once a Mamlatdar had a friend who was a Doctor. Once He was trying to explain the glories of Saibaba to the doctor. And also said that it would be good for Him to seek Baba’s darshan.
The doctor said that his personal deity or the ishta devta was Ram and that, he would not bow before a Mohammedan and so, he was unwilling to go to Shirdi. The Mamlatdar replied, that nobody would press him to bow down. So, he should come and just give pleasure of his company.
Accordingly, they reached Shirdi and went to the Masjid for Baba’s darshan. All were wonder-struck to see, the doctor going ahead and saluting Baba.
They asked him, how did he forget his resolve and bowed down to a Mussalman
Then, the doctor replied that, he saw his beloved deity Ram, on the seat where Baba was sitting and therefore, prostrated himself before Him. He was very pleased to see the Purushottam form of Shri Ramchandra face to face.
Then as he was saying this, he again saw, Sai Baba there. Being dismayed he again said, “ How could he be a Mohammeden? He is great Yogasampanna (Full of yoga) Avatar. “

A pure yogi is eternally one with God
Some people chant God's name in every minute of their conscious state. This kind of mechanical repetition does not mean true chanting of God's name. Likewise, there are several devotees who worship God by observing strict religious rites. It alone does not refer to remembering God. Everything in this world has name, form and quality. Likewise, God too would have them. The Deity we are worshipping has a name "Sai Baba". He had a well-built body, with golden complexion, blue eyes, bright smile and his head covered with a cloth and wore Kafni-a long gown. This completes the image of Sai. Usually, people who chant God's name and worship Him would keep in memory both name and form. However there is a "quality" beyond these two. That quality adds to Baba an Omnipotent, Omnipresent and All-Loving nature. As Baba's Image vibrates in the eye of our minds, it gets charged by His Supreme Spirit-Power. Is it a child's play to recollect name, form and qualities of the God altogether? Of course, they are easy to recall. Indeed, these three qualities are not distinctly separate. Their confluence is Baba. When we say "Baba", the image of Sai seated on a stone, one that of seeking alms or the form of Dwarakamayi or whichever posture/photo of Baba we like most must strike our mind and with that remembrance, Sai Grace reaches and blesses us.
Do not waste your energy in running after the materialistic things. You think you possess them but in reality they possess you. The more you have, the less is your freedom for listening to your inner voice.Never surrender your freedom and always enjoy every moment of life as it comes, as the Will of Baba.
Leela is the nature of Supreme Consciousness, playful nature. The phenomenal world is manifested Leela. The play is beginningless - as well as endless. Leela is the great adventure and the great discovery. Again, and again, and again, and again - without any loss and without any gain - this endless game is played. Those who realize the "play" in the game are not caught by the game-board, and know it as the Leela (Divine game) of Leela-Dhar (Cosmic Consciousness). Those who identify with the squares and planes of the game-board are played by the game-board; and the game-board becomes maya (illusion), the great veiling power that binds the mind.
