WHY INVITE WORRY!!!
Why do we develop worries, when the matter does not fall within the program set by you or when your expectations become too large or when your goal is not clear & your vision is blurred or when mind is full of negatives & evil thoughts & one behaves like uncultured human or animal instinct are more prominent & when one is more selfish & desires that every one should dance to his tunes.
Worry is one of the gravest problems of mankind. It is quite common in this modern age of stress and strain. I am talking about the worry that is unwarranted, that is imaginary that perturbs one's calm and snatches away the night's sleep. It is a product of a discordant mind. Worry is a sort of circular thinking that spins around aimlessly, ends nowhere and accomplishes nothing. Worry is repenting for mistakes of the past, fearing uncertainties of the future and escaping responsibilities of present.Worry is a kind of mental disease; mother of many physical ailments like insomnia, abnormal blood pressure, nervous breakdown, indigestion, gastric, diabetic or peptic ulcers etc, If you feel fed up and want to get rid of worries, you had better force your mind to take interest in some social purposeful work or do Name Japa, so that it becomes too busy to entertain unnecessary worry.Worry starts when your life force is bottled up. If you honestly wish to get rid of needless worry; first make sure what exactly is worrying you. Make a list of problems that are pricking your mind. You will then see that many of them are baseless & others areamenable to solution. Noting down your problems gives a vent to your feelings; it often clears the mind and relieves you of worry to a greater extent.Do not take your worries to bed. Night is a time for rest. The only time to worry is when you can actually grapple with the problems, instead of worrying about it. Suppose you had to write an urgent letter but is somehow it escaped your memory. You realize the omission only when you were going to sleep. You had better get up and write that letter. If you let it weigh on your mind, it will only make you miserable, tense & sleeplessness through out night. Some people try to do much more than they should; they assume responsibilities, which may not be wholly theirs. They dislike the idea of sharing responsibility with others because they consider them either shaky or fear that they do not want to loose the importance by delegating to others & at the same time grumbling about their duties..A worry shared is a worry halved. So, don't hesitate to talk out your worries to your close friends as well as to your well wisher or your life partner. This will lighten your pressure on the mind & allow you to have clear perspective in the larger interest of your health, which is first and foremost, then your people with whom you live or who are solely dependant upon you & lastly the set up or organization to ensure the profitability for all.
To overcome worry some people resort to drugs, smoking, drinking or immoral act to park the worry for some time. This type of attitude would afford a relief, but would rebound back on you with full force, whereby you will loose the sight of the priorities of life, which may endanger you in multiplication of worries coupled with financial burden on the one hand & endangering your health & thereby you may loose your job or the organization may fall in the hands of competitors .
An infallible method of overcoming worry is to develop a positive mental attitude that refuses to magnify trifling problems of daily life by praying the lord every time, every minute and second mentally, thereby your attention will be focused on the rightful matters.. Fondness for work, positive thinking & an optimistic outlook & this will also pass away will smoothen the path ridden with problems in an congenial atmosphere of living.Try & watch the results & come back to near ones, share and ponder over to bring the solution to the Problem, which is like both sides of the same coin.
BABA says:-
If a devotee, meditates with complete self-surrender, he will experience sweetness and sugar, waves and sea ,in all his activities & all his worries are taken away by ME.
Always be in Mantra mood, thereby you are saved from all negative & bad thoughts & tendencies, free you from all problems. There is no easier sadhana than this. it is the best purifier of your mind. It requires no paraphernalia, no restrictions & no condition, all are welcome, It is easy and effective & result oriented.
He who chants MY name
most always sees ME.
He who tells no stories but MINE,
he ceaselessly meditates upon ME.
He who comes to ME
becomes one with ME ,
Just as a river merges in the sea & becomes one. Scriptures Are Our Guide-Posts

After making a reading of scriptures like the Vedas and the Upanishads, we acquire spiritual wisdom with which we can live in equanimity both in weal and woe. To bear both pain and pleasure equally, we need to reach a spiritual state of equi-poise. Anantharao Patankar read many books and scriptures, yet he was restless in his mind and so he came to Shirdi and confessed before Baba that his bookish knowledge did not yield him peace of mind. He further added that the illiterate devotees of Baba were far better than him as they live in the cool ambience of Baba. Then, Baba explained, through Kelkar, that knowledge which is not coupled with sincere devotion, is futile. Though one may not be learned, but if one has faith and devotion for God, Baba's teachings will serve as guide-posts in life's journey. There are times when solutions to our problems do not strike our minds. We start reading Sri Sai Satcharitra or any other scripture. A sentence in that book or a story narrated therein will suggest solutions to our problems. If we repose firm faith in Baba, His silent voice of wisdom will reveal the right solution. After Baba's samadhi, Vaman Rao resolved to become a renunciate and he heard Baba ordering him to change his name to 'Sai Sharan'. Even today, we come across many devotees who had personal encounter and communication with Baba.
