This is a must watch Video . Salok Mohalla 9 : Sung by Jagjit Singh (1-56 pauris), With English Meanings. Salok Mahala 9 are the saloks (short hymns) by the ninth Sikh Guru, Guru Tegh Bahadur which form the concluding portion of the Guru Granth Sahib. They precede Guru Arjan's Mundavani and appear from page 1426 to 1429 of the Sikh holy Granth.
The magical voice in this Video is of Late Jagjit Singh who is my personal favourite and no matter what he sings,- whether it is a Gazal or a Bhajan-it truly touches and connects with your soul. And this is one such terrific video which will change the way you see your life. Watch this Video if you feel that you are in this never ending rat race and you have absolutely no idea where you are going in life. Even though this video is in Punjabi but it has English Subtitles which make you understand the biggest truth of life in a very simple way. My Heartfelt Thanks to the one who has made this video. The pictures are terrific and helps you to realize the bitter truth about yourself. May Guru Nanak's grace and blessings always be with us .
Sai bhakt,
Deepa H
Devi Durga is Goddess of Shakti (Strength, power,
energy). Being the deity of the cosmic fort (Durg) she is called “Goddess
Durga”. Mother Durga is the embodiment of the divine energy and the creative
power. According to the ancient scriptures Mother Durga has nine forms or
dimensions. The evolution of Shri Maha Saraswati, Shri Maha Laxmi and Shri
Mahakali (the 3 main forms of "Shakti") took place from Shri Brahma, Shri Vishnu
and Shri Mahesh respectively. Each of these 3 deities gave rise to 3 more forms
and hence in all, these 9 forms together are known as Nav-Durga. Hindu people
worship these nine forms of Durga or nine forms of Shakti during nine days of
Navratri.
Day 6 – Mata Katyayani
The goddess of Vrindavan, she is depicted as having four arms and three eyes, she is seated on a lion. She is the sixth swarup of Ma Durga and is known as Mata Katyayani. The son of “Kat” was “Katya”. Rishi Katyayan was born in this “Katya” lineage. Katyayan had observed penance with a desire to get Ma as his daughter. As a result she took birth as a daughter of Katyayan. Therefore her name is “Katyayani” . She killed the demon Mahishasur.
To get Krishna as a husband gopis worship Ma Katryayani in Vraj. So she is established as the Queen of Vraj.
May the ever watchful Durga Devi Katyayani, who holds shining Chandrahasa (Sword) in Devi's hand and rides a magnificent lion and destroys the demons, bestow welfare on us and our loved ones
Quote of BABA:
Believe Me, though I pass away, My bones in My tomb would be speaking, moving and communicating with those, who would surrender themselves wholeheartedly to Me. Do not be anxious that I would be absent from you. You will hear My bones speaking and discussing your welfare. But remember Me always, believe in Me heart and soul, and then you will be most benefitted.

When life gives you a hundred reasons to cry, show life that you have a thousand reasons to smile
