If wealth is lost, nothing is lost; if health is lost, something lost; if character is lost, all is lost.
One day a man saw an old lady, stranded on the side of the road, but even in the dim light of day, he could see she needed help. So he pulled up in front of her Mercedes and got out. His Pontiac was still sputtering when he approached her.Even with the smile on his face, she was worried. No one had stopped to help for the last hour or so. Was he going to hurt her? He didn’t look safe; he looked poor and hungry. He could see that she was frightened, standing out there in the cold. He knew how she felt. It was those chills which only fear can put in you. He said, “I’m here to help you, ma’am. Why don’t you wait in the car where it’s warm? By the way, my name is Bryan Anderson.”
Well, all she had was a flat tire, but for an old lady, that was bad enough. Bryan crawled under the car looking for a place to put the jack, skinning his knuckles a time or two. Soon he was able to change the tire. But he had to get dirty and his hands hurt.As he was tightening up the lug nuts, she rolled down the window and began to talk to him. She told him that she was from St. Louis and was only just passing through. She couldn’t thank him enough for coming to her aid.
Bryan just smiled as he closed her trunk. The lady asked how much she owed him. Any amount would have been all right with her. She already imagined all the awful things that could have happened had he not stopped. Bryan never thought twice about being paid. This was not a job to him. This was helping someone in need, and God knows there were plenty, who had given him a hand in the past. He had lived his whole life that way, and it never occurred to him to act any other way.He told her that if she really wanted to pay him back, the next time she saw someone who needed help, she could give that person the assistance they needed, and Bryan added, “And think of me.”He waited until she started her car and drove off. It had been a cold and depressing day, but he felt good as he headed for home, disappearing into the twilight.
A few miles down the road the lady saw a small cafe. She went in to grab a bite to eat, and take the chill off before she made the last leg of her trip home. It was a dingy looking restaurant. Outside were two old gas pumps. The whole scene was unfamiliar to her. The waitress came over and brought a clean towel to wipe her wet hair. She had a sweet smile, one that even being on her feet for the whole day couldn’t erase. The lady noticed the waitress was nearly eight months pregnant, but she never let the strain and aches change her attitude. The old lady wondered how someone who had so little could be so giving to a stranger. Then she remembered Bryan.
After the lady finished her meal, she paid with a hundred dollar bill. The waitress quickly went to get change for her hundred dollar bill, but the old lady had slipped right out the door. She was gone by the time the waitress came back. The waitress wondered where the lady could be. Then she noticed something written on the napkin.
There were tears in her eyes when she read what the lady wrote: “You don’t owe me anything. I have been there too. Somebody once helped me out, the way I’m helping you. If you really want to pay me back, here is what you do: Do not let this chain of love end with you.”Under the napkin were four more $100 bills.
Well, there were tables to clear, sugar bowls to fill, and people to serve, but the waitress made it through another day. That night when she got home from work and climbed into bed, she was thinking about the money and what the lady had written. How could the lady have known how much she and her husband needed it? With the baby due next month, it was going to be hard….She knew how worried her husband was, and as he lay sleeping next to her, she gave him a soft kiss and whispered soft and low, “Everything’s going to be all right. I love you, Bryan Anderson.”There is an old saying “What goes around comes around.”
Quote of BABA:
Let the world go topsy-turvey, you remain where you are. Standing or staying in your own place, look on calmly at this show of all things passing before you.

SAI BABA'S GOLD CROWN STOLEN FROM SAI TEMPLE`ANAND
10th November 2010
VADODARA/ANAND: On Wednesday 10th Nov`2010 noon, a Gold Crown was stolen from Shirdi Sai Baba's Idol in one of the most popular Temple premises located on Lambhvel Road on the outskirts of Anand city in Gujarat`India. The Gold Crown mounted on the Idol of Shirdi Sai Baba at "Sainath Temple" premises was stolen within Four minutes! According to the Temple Trustees, the Crown weighing 622 grams was valued at Rs 12.5 lakh and the Temple had received it as a donation during the Installation ceremony of the Temple in February`2009. Shri Shwetalkumar Patel, Trustee of the Sai Baba Jan Seva Trust, which manages the Temple premises, said"We have two CCTV cameras installed at our Temple premises which has Three Temples - one of Mahadevji, another of Sai Baba and third of Shani Dev. These cameras cover both the areas surrounding the Idol of Sai Baba and that of Shani Dev. But, the CCTV camera that was overlooking the Sai Baba Idol stopped working between 11.33 am and 11.37 am. It was during this four-minute span that some miscreant seems to have stolen the Gold Crown from Baba, as the Crown can be seen in the CCTV footage before the camera stopped recording and the footage also shows a man wearing black T-shirt moving around the Temple premises but his face is not clear."Patel, who has registered a complaint at Anand town police station, says he was informed about the theft by the Temple's priest and other office-bearers around 12 noon. Anand town police are investigating the case even as they are not ruling out insider's involvement in the case. Anand town's police inspector Shri. D.S.Vaghela said that "The Gold Crown has been stolen when the Temple remains open for public. The Crown is brought out of the locker and installed on the idol of Sai Baba only during special days and during festive season.
It is the duty of the priest to remain present near the Baba's Idol. So apart from studying the CCTV footage recorded before and after the theft, we are also questioning some office-bearers of the Temple,"

Breaking News Regarding Shirdi
5th November 2010
One has heard products being marketed and sold in the name of Film Stars etc but misusing the name of Saints like Shirdi Sai Baba and that even for selling Tobacco related products, is surely bound to hit out at the sentiments of Devotees. Shirdi Sai Baba's name is being misused by Madhusudan Beedi Works, Bhongir`Andhra Pradesh, who are manufacturing "Beedies" (small hand-rolled cigarettes) by the name of "Sai Baba Beedies"
and selling them openly in Ahmednagar`Maharashtra. The cover of the Beedi pack has a photo of Sai Baba printed along with the photo of its manufacturer on it.This has annoyed Baba's devotees at Shirdi as they feel that after the Beedies will get over, its cover having Sai Baba's photo on it, will be discarded either in Garbage or will litter on the ground and thus might come under one's slippers or shoes, which is not acceptable by them, as they worship Sai Baba as their God.They claim that Baba's name which itself heals diseases is being used to sell tobacco
and all the more spread diseases. So, they have made a request to the Shirdi Sansthan Trust to prohibit such harmful tobacco products to be sold in Sai Baba's name andalso want the Government to take some action against it.

The divine sports or leelas of Sri Sai Baba are endless, wonderful and expansive. Even today Baba gives Darshan (vision) to His devotees in various forms from His Samadhi (Holy Tomb). He speaks and saves His devotees from the precincts of His Samadhi. We have the devotees of Baba tell us: "Baba told me this..." or "Baba saved me thus....". It is better to share the divine miracles of Baba with others so that their faith in Baba gets strengthened and firmly established. As we have tasted the nectar of Baba's love, we should love to share this bliss with others too. Then, whatever remains of selfishness we still have, will vanish, and there upon we can cultivate the virtue of sharing good things with others. When we narrate our experiences to others, it may strike a positive note of response in others and they too yearn to savour the divine bliss of Baba's presence. Eager to become true devotees of Baba, their hearts burst with love for Baba. Thus, they too join the multitude of Baba's devotees. The miracles of Baba will enormously help an ordinary person to enter the path of devotion. If some people have turned devotees of Baba because of us, it is nothing but Baba's Greatness that we dwell in His divine consciousness. Our devotion to Baba will lead many others to the path of salvation. We bear the witness for it.
